Kids and Youth
Kids and youth are important to us at Calvary. They are a part of the family, a part of the church. The whole family is blessed when our kids are active in worship and throughout the week at church.

Nursery and

During our Sunday services, nursery is available for babies and toddlers ages 0-3.
Children ages 4-8 are excused during the service for their own time of learning together

Girls Grades 3-8
GEMS
GEMS (Girls Everywhere meeting the Saviour) club meets every other Friday night. This is a joint ministry with Calvin Christian Reformed Church. Girls participate in making crafts, working on badges, an dsmall group Bible lessons crafts to make, badges to work on, and small group Bible lessons. Counselors take the time to get to know the girls and become positive role models for them, and to challenge girls to show their love for Jesus in how they live and interact with each other.

Boys Grades 4-8
Cadets
Cadets meet every other Friday night at Calvin Christian Reformed Church. Cadets participate in crafts like woodworking, badge work, and Bible lessons in small groups. The boys also learn outdoor skills which help them appreciate God’s creation and their place in it. Those skills are put to the test in friendly competitions with other clubs through the Snow Derby and Cadet-a-rama (complete with a cub car derby).
Most of all, God's love is shared with the boys, and each boy is encouraged to grow in his relationship to Jesus. Cadets are also challenged to live their lives serving God, their families, the cadet club and their neighbours.
