For each day of Holy Week, I plan to post a daily reading plan and brief reflection that can be used as part of your personal or family devotions. The reflections will include a reading from the Gospels from Jesus’ final week on earth, and one of the “Hallel” Psalms used at Passover that I mentioned in yesterday’s sermon. Below is today’s readings and reflection. I will try to have these posted each day by noon.

Pray

Take time to pray over the texts.

  • Ask God for the strength to respond to the things he challenged you in today.
  • Pray for the blessing and protection of family, friends, and healthcare workers
  • Pray for a deeper understanding and assurance of God’s love and presence
